Giving up...

Sometimes I feel so beaten down i just feel like i want to give up on everything.

Sometimes I wish i have no feelings, no emotion, no goal, no expectations.

Sometimes I just wish that i can shut myself down.

Sometimes i hate myself so much I wish i wasn't me.

Feel so demotivated, dissapointed, vulnerable, lost...

Sigh....I can only say sigh and then move on with my life.

Aaaanyways, i got over it.

Oh, it's not that i can't take criticism, i just need time to digest and get over it. Not everyone is perfect and i think everyone is allowed to be emo once in a while before they turn psycho. Like me. >.>

Kuih Dua Puteri Sebilik aka The Lesbian kuih

Met up with the ex Proxters for buka puasa dinner last night at Laman Kasih in Kuang run by my ex colleague, Juju's in laws. The place is located in one of the Kampung at Lorong melati, Kuang. Took me quite a while to search for the location on google map, but found a quite useful map on their facebook page.

Food was yummay, coffee was awesome and the company was great! Their famous dish is their Nasi Tomato and you must try their coffee sedap! Had 2 that night! They also served this kuih melayu called "Kuih dua puteri sebilik" (Ivan called it the Kuih Lesbian, -__-lll) which i'm sure it's delicious! I didn't try one because i'm still on the diet. :(

Here's the address if you guys want to give it a try!

No.3024, Jalan Melati
Kampung Damai bt. 18
Kuang, 48050
Selangor

Or visit their Facebook page for more info!

A picture of the place before i sign off. :D

Being fat.

Here comes my once in a year post! Can't believe my last post was 8 months ago...-__-lll #blog fail dot com

What triggered me to start blogging again you say? Well, most was due to this diet that i'm on and i really want to share with everyone how good and easy it was. And the other main reason was just because work kinda slowing down this week.

SO, the diet.

Yes, for your information, i was fat for 3 years after i joined Proximity (the previous agency i worked in). How fat? I gained a whooopppppiiinnggg 10kg! yup, all the late night pizzas and Mcds does the work really well. AND of course the drinking. You are not in advertising if you don't drink (fine, speak for myself).

So 6 months ago, i joined Futurelab Asia which the co-founder is my ex-boss, Janet from Proximity. Life was swell, i love my job and love the people/ talent i'm working with. The most important thing is, i have more time for myself instead of staying in office 24/7 a day and 7 days a week! (sorry, added a hint of exaggeration :P)

So one day, Janet saw this article of a diet on a magazine. It is called the "Dukan Diet". The Dukan Diet was designed by a French doctor called Pierre Dukan, ah...Pierre, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dukan diet consist of 4 phases: Attack, Cruise, Consolidation, and Stabilization. The key attraction to this diet (well at least for me) is that you don't have to starve or do excessive exercises. BUT, you will have to say goodbye to all your favorite food! Favorite food like junk food, dessert, rice, noodles, pork, blablabla.

For more information, please go google yourself or go to their official site. Because there is plenty of guides and recipes that you can find on the world wide web. :p The best recipe site, i think, is this one: http://www.mydukandiet.com/

So i have been on this diet for 1 and a half month, so far i have lost a total of 5 kg. I am on the Cruise phase now. Before i reach my target weight which is 4kg to go, I will still remain on Cruise phase. To be honest, after doing this diet, i feel alot more healthier and lighter. Although you might encounter some constipation problem throughout the diet, but it's fine, just drink more water and eat more vege on the Cruise phase.

I am sick of being called fat or being asked "Oh Lynn, have you gained weight?" or "Life's good for you lately huh?" or even "Omg Lynn, you're fat! i can see your tummy from far!" or maybe even "Sei Fei Po!" (ask your chinese friend if you are not sure what that means).

So, i am determined to lose weight!

Tribute to MJ

I was so saddened by the news that i had to write this post.

It kind of strucked me looking back the days where he was called "whacko jacko" and "child molester", and now when he's dead, the whole world is regretting.

The world destroyed him and now the world is crying for his death, call it hypocrite or whatever you want, but i do feel a sense of emptiness for his death.

To make it clear, i'm not like a big fans of MJ, but i can say that i grew up listening to his songs and imitating his moves(especially thriller). I didn't know i will feel sad because of his death.

And when he was given a chance to clear his reputation by having a come back tour, God of Death have to take that away from him. I can feel that he passed away with regret and dissatisfactions.

Well, wherever he is now, hope that he knows how the world celebrating him, am really moved by this particular video:

RIP MJ, You will always be the King of Pop forever.

What the hell is TNB up to??!!

I am now stuck in Mcd alone because of the power cut at home...where's the boyfriend when i need one!! :(...

Seriously, what the hell is TNB up to these days, it is not the first time we are experiencing power cut during these 2 months in Medan Damansara. So frustating.......

Anyways, since i have plenty of time here waiting for my "knight in shining armour" to come back from the land called Melaka...maybe i can "report" what i've done during my almost a month hiatus.

About 2 weeks ago, my partner in crime Miss. Sharifah has officially left me to join the "Dragon" clan if you know what i mean, if those who don't, don't bother asking, cause it's too depressing :(.

hee hee...nutters as JuJu called us.

This is what happens when you work in an ad agency, people come and go really fast you don't even have time to really really know them yet. When you're starting to get close with this one person, and the next day you see them going bye bye. :(... I guess i got kinda used to situation like this, now i'm just trying to focus more on my work.

I went to a alcohol-less Freedom rave last week, Above & Beyond was playing and they were actually pretty good. What make this rave a really bad one is there's not a drop of alcohol allowed at all, and the organiser expect the rave goers to wear decently which is damn odd. You can practically see security guards around asking those girls in bikini to put on their top. Weird. Should have been to U.O.X rave instead cause i heard the alcohol was endless and Steve Aoki was really good. hmmm....

Last Thursday went to Henessy Artistry party that the boyfriend's company organised. It was okay, Lap Sap and a few other artist played. Alot of technical glitches here and there, but we had fun as always.

BUT, there was actually alot of dramas happened that night, someone puke all over Imee, not actually all over but on her arm. It was damn gross, and our reflex was actually damn good, we jumped about 5 metres away from that dude after he puked and i think i step on someone's feet with my 4 inch heels, Ouch.

And then, I almost abducted by this Malay dude. Scary. te conversation goes like this:
Malay dude grab my hand.

Dude: Hey, I know you right? we chatted just now remember?

Me: err...no?

Dude: you can't remember me? Never mind, my friend wants to meet you.

And he proceed to drag me to somewhere else. And i swear i shouted for my life at

Sid and Evan to pull me back. Heroic Evan saved me though....Akkakakaka.

Evan, me, Imee and Sid. :)

Well...that's waht i did for the month of May.

Now, i wonder if the electricity is back cause i'm soooo sleepy now.

Cheers,
Sots.

Bitch fight...literally

About 2 months ago, i saved a puppy from the drain. We decided to keep her because she's kinda cute.

We named her Calou. Don't ask, boyfriend insisted that it's a cool name....=__=lll.

and about 2 weeks ago, my colleague Alfred gave me a Jack Russell. His friend was looking for someone to adopt it. So we did, and he's a male puppy.

This is Mambo.

Now...the problem is, this two puppies doesn't get along AT ALL!! sigh....there will be barking wars almost every morning....

We don't want to give away neither of them, any ideas how to solve this....:(

ooo...on a nother note, I just bought this baby for only 100 bux:

Now, i'll just need to get myself some films and do some experiments....yay!!

Racist cunt

Hi all, pardon my language above as i am very very furious up until now.

It happened on Friday when our Agency was celebrating yet another award received. We booked the restaurant called Ill Padrino downstairs as it was convenient and most of us are regulars there.

Every celebration of ours often has a toast to victory but we do it the "Chinese" style, which is YAM SENG! While we were in the midst of our celebration and toast, there came this very ignorant and racist Italian owner of this place, and he shouted: "EXCUSE ME, THIS IS NOT A "CHINESE" PLACE!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT HERE" and he stormed off. After hearing that, trust me honey.. the flame got into my head. We all were so furious we left the place and headed to Jarrod & Rawlins.

It was very rude of him to say that when more than half of my co workers are Chinese. With that action, he has successfully lose more than 30 of the regulars that visit his restaurant and he also contributed more customers to Jarrod & Rawlins. BRAVO!!

To all Chinese out there, please do not visit Ill Padrino at Wisma UOA in Damansara Heights, this is because it's not our place, understand? Please proceed to Jarrod & Rawlins down the road as they are more Chinese friendly. :)

Okthxbai.
